Digital Divide parts: 1 2 3 4 5 6

I met up this afternoon with Vivian Stockman who is the project coordinator for the Ohio Valley Environmental Coalition, an organization that acts against mountain top removal mining in the Ohio Valley.

As project coordinator her responsibilities involve communications and media work to help organize action throughout West Virginia and beyond. We spoke briefly about her process in spreading information, the role the digital divide plays in Appalachian schools, and the area’s energy and technology future.
